#teamlink Fundraise with Tough Mudder

Back in September Link took part in Tough Mudder, North West at Cholmondeley Castle, Malpas. We had teams in 3 events that Tough Mudder where hosting on 4th September. Taking part in the Lidl Mudder, 5K course and the Classic 10 mile course. In total we had 40 people taking part on behalf of Link and this was a mixture of Link employees and their families and friends. #teamlink members put their bodies to the test. And everyone had a lot of fun dragging themselves through the mud, into ice cold water and quickly past the electric shocks. There was even a tear gas tent to crawl through as well. And nobody avoided being covered in mud despite the nice weather as you can see from the pictures below! it was a great day for all involved with refreshments and beer handed out as you cross the finish line. At Link we are very proud to take part in events like this for our partner charities. It allows our #teamlink members to do something they love while raising money for amazing causes. The Tough Mudder event brought in a grand total of £2,428. This amount will be split between Derian House Children's Hospice and Guide Dogs UK. As you will see (beneath all the mud) in the pictures, some of our participants wore Derian House t-shirts or #teamlink t-shirts with the guide dogs logo on so that we could raise awareness for both causes.

How the money is used

This money will be added to the total amount we have raised this year. We are so grateful for the amount that has been raised. We would also like to thank everyone who took part or has donated money to these wonderful causes.
