Over the summer our MD and Ops manager attended The Little things Event at Derian House and had a lovely conversation in the summer sunshine about Christmas Trees, that’s right Christmas in August! Following previous years #treetastrophes Ellie asked Barry if he had any ideas on how we combat the great Northern weather, keep the trees upright and most importantly protect the beautiful decorations that have been placed on the trees by their sponsors. Fast forward 3 months to November and another gorgeous slightly colder sunny day and we were onsite digging holes and installing a cable system to keep the trees upright, which in the summer months can be removed.
Today we visited the hospice, to do a quick quality check of the poles and cables (giving the trees a wiggle) and decorate our very own Link Christmas Tree. Going with a chaotic glittery theme this year, we are thrilled to be supporting the Lights of Love event and look forward to what 2026 brings.
