Socialising with work colleagues is beyond important, even more so for our team members who work remotely away from the office or live in some of our further away locations. And the most common questions as to why are the following, Why? Do we not spend enough time together in the office? Does it really make a difference?
And the answer to these questions is quite a simple one. Statistics show, those who socialise outside of working hours with their colleagues 67% of them have higher levels of happiness when at work and 69% of people say it improves and promotes positive mental health in the workplace. So really it's a no brainer. Happy employees, Happy work place.
At Link we always endeavour to offer our teams the opportunity to let their hair down and reward them for all their hard work, we have also realised as well as smashing the service they give our customers our teams are super competitive so bowling was the logical choice. We hosted two bowling events one in our hometown of Wigan and one in Cardiff Bay and both nights were a roaring success, if not the scene of some slight cheating (who knew we employed low key pro bowlers) and many many laughs.
Following the bowling evenings we cannot wait now until our Linkmas party for more laughs and team bonding.
