Following the success of last years 'Bail me out' for Derian, our Finance & HR Director took time our of her busy schedule to spend the day 'banged' up with the hope of raising some much needed funds for Derian House. Now the ops team aren't one to point fingers, but a few of us have been the victims of Nicola and her pushing of shots, there may have been a pair of shoes that disappeared but that's a story for another day. Anyway the title of 'The Tequila Bandita' is very much earned and her time in the slammer, has hopefully forced her to reflect on her actions and do some good. Nicola and several other inmates from various businesses around the north west were faced with tasks including a scavenger hunt round Chorley Town Centre, which if you can imagine 10 adults in striped pj's and dodgy hats running round, you will appreciate the comedy gold of the situation all in aid of this amazing cause. By 5pm bail out time Nicola had raised a staggering £1248 for the charity and was freed back into society, hopefully having learnt her lesson (this is highly unlikely) and all was right again in the world. If you would like to learn more about Derian and the wonderful work they do, or even just have a giggle at the inmates dressed up in their prisoner garb, check out the Derian House website below! https://www.derianhouse.co.uk/
