Priestley College required the construction of two new extensions, one to the Priestley Building and one to the Crescent Building, both on the same campus but it two different locations.
A tricky site management plan was introduced to ensure all safety measures were implemented to gain access to both builds, while ensuring there was not hindrance to the college or their staff and students.
Both buildings where built from SFS (Structural Framing System) with one building cladded with an aluminium rainscreen cladding and cedar cladding, while the other was a brick façade with a feature band of rainscreen cladding.
The buildings were built for different uses therefore attention to detail was critical to all areas. The Crescent building had the use of an extension to the Café and also additional offices. While the Priestley building was built as a dance and drama studio with changing facilities and feature lighting to the studio.
